1846: ROYAL VISIT

Stephen Horton (a pupil from 1982 to 1989) has kindly sent us a copy of this newspaper cutting from the Liverpool Courier.

Published on 31st July 1846 it tells of the visit of Prince Albert to the Blue Coat School, and how impressed he was.
