Top left: Alex's Auntie Ellen, who was also at the Blue Coat. She was born
in 1902, so would be about 13 when the picture was taken in 1915.
Top centre: Alex's uncle, John Alexander Copeland, born 1905 and also pictured
in 1915 whilst a pupil at the school.
Top right: Beaumaris 1945. Alex is standing second from the right with his
arms folded.
